Google Project

Google projects are the most useful project that we done it this semester on MAS course.
Before these projects I didn’t know a lot about Google. I’m just using only using the famous Google search engine to find what I want by one click but now my knowledge about Google and the different tools that I can used in different things not only for searching.
From my point of view, and I think that most of you will agree on it .After this projects most of us started use the different Google tools that we learn about them.
I think that Google tools make my life easier faster and I will tell you how each tools I get the benefit from it.

I will start by:
1- Google chrome.
Now it is one of the biggest browsers they need to compete with. After my suffering with Internet explorer since I began using the internet I download Google Chrome before the Google project. I noticed that Google chrome was faster, easier more than the other browsers. I like the features which are characterized by Google chrome. For example, I can change the background as I like. Moreover, Google chrome blocked any pop up that appeared when I’m using it.

2- Google calendar.
We have a lot of works and deadlines that we need to met for the college projects I used it more the outlook because it had more features than the outlook, but in the same time I could linked both of them together. This semester after I learned about Google calendar I started to use it. I used it to organize my time and to know which work should I done it! Because Google calendar send a reminders about the event and the work that I inputted before when the time comes.

3- Google blog.
It is the most one I like it, because it is such as your own white paper you can pick your pen and start writing on it but on electronic way.

4- Google desktop.
Use your desktop to see everything that you want without entering the internet browser such as weather, not, pictures, YouTube video and news.

5- Google document.
It is the useful one especially for us, because we have a lots of project documents and we cannot know what will happened if the our laptop will crash .consequently, that what I started to use to save my document in another place without losing them .
6- Google reader.
I liked every morning to read the news to know what happened around me in the world. The Google reader is one of the best ways to do that, we can choose what categories that we want to read about. Any fresh news you can find them in the Google reader.

7- Google Gmail
Before we take the Google Gmail lesson I was interested t create account for myself, but each time I just canceled it. After the lesson I create an account for myself and each day I find something more interested and useful in it. Consequently it is my best way to check my emails.

Miserable, upset, annoy and frustrating this is my feeling after the presentation that I had done it with my colleagues. It was the second and the final presenting in MAS Course .it was about E-commerce, Digital marketing and Digital good. I prepared well this time for my presentation not as the first one, but what I shall do when something out of control and not my fault?!!

In this presentation I choose to explain the internet business model part, but in unconventional way. I have planned to explain my part through the video that I made it by myself not as the regular PowerPoint ,I was ready to visit the sites for each model ,so my colleagues will understand more what I’m talking about. In addition, I made cards to distribute them to my student, this cards shaped assimilate something’s in the site that I choose to visited; the other side of the cards they will find the model definition with the site that we visited.
After we started our presentation, I waited my term which was the final part from our presentation and the shocked began!!!!!
Where is my video that I put it in the presentation?

Nothing there, because when I finished my part I sent it to Mahra to include it to the presentation and I put it by my hand to make sure that its work, but Mahra sent the presentation to Shaima then Shaima sent it to Maythaa laptop to present our presentation from her laptop .My video lose through all this process !! .At that moment I forgot everything that I want to say. I tried to fix this on a quick way and completing my explanation without the video. Moreover, when I enter the first website which was my example for the first model through the internet explorer browser, but the website didn’t work with me because the internet explorer browser didn’t work in the Maythaa laptop and its new information that I know it after we done the presentation.

Furthermore, the cards that I did it for my colleagues they didn’t care about it and they left it on the tables. Even Mr. Tridib didn’t care about what I made, he left the class!!! His card on table and I thought without that he didn’t look at it.

Then I heard your grade is C-!!!!

Back to the pressure !!

I had energy after the 10 days holiday that we have. In addition, I know that we have a lots of projects deadline that we have to submit during the last two weeks , for instance the marketing management project parts 4+5 for Mis, Jaishree and the marketing research project for Mis Maura the professional email for Mr,Karl . Unfortunately, this energy regularly reduces!!! Maybe because:

• When you feel uncomfortable through the environment around you with feeling that you are stranger between your colleagues!!
• When you asked someone to explain something for u and they ignored ur question !!! :S

Another reasons I couldn’t write all of them here ….. Etc, A lot of things around me disappoint me; I don’t know what to do!! (ensallah ) in the next 2 weeks I will be fine coz, we will finish this semester . :)

10 days Holiday!!!!

We took 10 days holiday which was Eid Al -adha holiday and the national days. In the third day of al Eid I went with my family to Umm Al Quwain to meet our relatives who came from the other Emirates. All of us camped there for 2 days enjoying the nature and the fresh air away from the noise of cities. We enjoyed our time by driving the motorcycles on the sand. In addition, the most things that I liked it on this trip were the race between the girl’s team and boy’s teams. We agreed that the loser will make the dinner for the all even if they didn’t know how to cook we thought that we could win, but we lose the rice and we forced to cooked the dinner.

L astly, after spending 2 days on the desert we return to back to Dubai time , but I feel sad because the holiday over and I have many works to completed for the college during the coming weeks.

Seven pearls

2 December 1971 was the day that Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, became one country under the name United Arab Emirates.

They are the seven pearls of the gulf, and each year Celebrations take place in all seven emirates on this occasion. So, in the 25 th of the previous month the National Day celebrations were held at the college

The ceremony opened by paratroopers parachute drop by the flag and carrying portraits of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed and Sheikh Mohammed and when they land on the green plains was the national anthem to the State of United Arab Emirates. In addition, there were various events such as the most beautiful national costume, which was held for teachers, cuisine made popular by women citizens, young children dancing folk dances and a variety of other events. Moreover, Students participated in this celebration by decorating their cars colors UAE flag, and wearing traditional clothes earing. accessories color flag of the United Arab Emirates and other posts.

The day was amazing, I enjoyed my time with my friends participated in activities and celebration of the national day at college, also after this day there will be a 10-day vacation.

Acheaving the Future

Last week my brother sent for me an email , which was a video about a future roll laptop that maybe they will produce it in 2011.

I saw the video; it was amazing laptop if laptops companies will produce it, coz everything is rolled on this laptop such as, the charger, the pen that you can use it to draw and another laptop staff.
In the same time it is easy to carry it, and it is flexible display allows a new concept in notebook design growing out of the traditional one.

I feel that women will more buy it than men , beacuse they don't like to carrying heavy objects! :D


I responded the email to my brother , and i told him when it will be in the market buy one for me , not just send the video.:P
